Renée Leighann is a web designer and digital marketing expert that focuses on the client experience as well as increasing sales and growing audiences. Her expertise includes website design, graphic design and marketing strategy. Renée's motivated by understanding a brand's unique voice, and translating that into effective marketing campaigns. Overall, she's a highly adaptable and skilled professional with a passion for creative problem-solving and helping business owners succeed.
BIO Renée's background includes over 15 years of experience promoting businesses, non-profit organizations and events. Her business experience includes owning and managing the Copper Owl, a busy music venue in downtown Victoria, as well as managing arts organizations and hospitality businesses over the last 20 years.
Renée has worked with hundreds of artists and artisans to exhibit and promote their work in various venues including the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria, The Fifty Fifty Arts Collective, the Community Arts Council of Greater Victoria as well as the Copper Owl Xmas Market. She has also been grant writing over the past 12 years for individual artists and arts organizations, successfully securing funding through BC Arts Council, Canada Council for the Arts, the CRD and Creative BC.
In her current freelance work, she helps a diverse range of business owners including artists and artisans, filmmakers, interior designers, coaches and counsellors, non-profit organizations, and retail businesses.
