Luke Ramsey is a multidisciplinary visual artist currently living on the Sunshine Coast, BC. His work is a combination of design, freehand drawing, painted nature landscapes and public art. He loves collaboration and is currently hosting online drawing sessions with local youth. Luke was recently awarded a BC Arts Council Pivot grant, with plans to connect with more students and schools around the province.

Luke Ramsey co-founded the Islands Fold residency, exhibits internationally and works in public art, murals and illustration. His client list includes The New York Times, The Cartoon Network, Patagonia, The BC Children’s Hospital and more. Luke’s paintings have been acquired in collections with The Government of Canada and The City of Seattle. His collaborative mural with Josh Holinaty won a National Urban Design Medal from the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada. His book Intelligent Sentient? is published by Drawn & Quarterly, and was nominated for a Doug Wright Award. Luke became The City of Victoria’s first Artist in Residence from 2016-2018.
