My personal practice is based largely on materials that I collect. Synthetic drumheads that once lived on bass or snare drums become canvases; Acorns, berries and plants that are picked up off the ground and turned into natural inks; Offcut pieces of plexiglass that are rummaged out of a bin and made into magical hanging installations.
I am interested in making by hand, designing based on what is available, and transforming something considered "useless" into something beautiful.
My designs are inspired by folk art, nature and the interconnectedness of all things.
